Become a Campus Ambassador

Campus Ambassadors are current undergraduate students or recent graduates moving onto MA or other programmes who promote the GUA to students in their own institutions onsite. They act as our eyes and ears on campus and are a valued extension of the GUA Team.

Are you keen to develop your transferable skills and gain valuable work experience while empowering your fellow scholars to create meaningful opportunities from their undergraduate work?

Look no further! Global Undergraduate Awards (GUA) is seeking dynamic and motivated students to join our team as Campus Ambassadors.

As a GUA Campus Ambassador, you will play a vital role in promoting our prestigious global academic program within your university community as our resident Social Influencer!

We are looking for enthusiastic students to work with us and gain experience working in Social Media Marketing.

Gaining valuable transferable skills is essential for standing out in today’s competitive job market. Becoming a Campus Ambassador is a fantastic way to develop skills, such as: communication, leadership, and networking, all of which are crucial across any career path.

As an ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your public speaking, project management, and social media skills all while studying. It’s a unique chance to grow personally and professionally, all while making a positive impact on your campus community!

PLUS you could win a trip to Dublin in November along with our Academic Global Winners to be part of the Summit on our Media Team.

What Does a Campus Ambassador do?

Becoming a Campus Ambassador is a voluntary role that typically requires an average commitment of no more than 2 hours per week. As a Campus Ambassador, you have the flexibility to choose how and when to promote the programme at your university or college, fitting your efforts around your own schedule.

The role is whatever you make of it, but typically centers around promotion of the GUA on campus and this can take many forms, such as putting up posters, distributing flyers, sharing updates on social media, hosting information sessions or stands, engaging with college officials and Heads of Departments, or reaching out to the Students’ Union.

You’re also encouraged to come up with your own creative and innovative strategies to increase awareness and engagement of course.
