The Global Undergraduate Awards - Summit Agenda
The three jam-packed days will focus on the power of undergraduate research across all disciplines, with our Global Winners presenting their award-winning work and sharing in discussions on our global futures.
This special event on the Global Academic Calendar is a unique moment to network with fellow international students working in fields outside your own and for our judging panels and their colleagues to network, collaborate and grow.
The Summit includes a number of opportunities to sample the very best in Irish Culture and take part in a number of engaging workshops, panels, and keynote addresses, bringing expert discussion on issues of global importance to our student and academic attendees.

Location: Blackhall Place (Map location) in the centre of Dublin, has a rich historical legacy dating back to the 18th century. Originally constructed as a courthouse in 1776, it served as a center of legal proceedings and justice. Today, Blackhall Place is home to the Honorable Society of King’s Inns, an institution dedicated to legal education and training, preserving its historic significance in Dublin’s legal landscape. It is also the host of Day 2 of our Summit.

Keynote Speaker: PJ Gallagher – PJ Gallagher is an Irish comedian and actor known for his sharp wit and humorous storytelling. He gained widespread recognition for his role in the popular Irish TV series “Naked Camera” and has continued to make audiences laugh with his stand-up comedy performances. With his distinctive style and engaging stage presence, PJ Gallagher is a beloved figure in the Irish comedy scene.

Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony – Location: King’s Inns (Blackhall Place) is one of the most important examples of Ireland’s Georgian architectural heritage. Designed in 1800 by the eminent architect James Gandon, who had earlier designed the Custom House and the Four Courts in Dublin, was commissioned by the benchers to design a new building for the Society on Henrietta Street. It is also the location of our Yearly Gala Dinner where we honor our Global Winners.
