Undergraduate Awards 2025: Proud Supporter of the Maynooth 5K & 10K Family Run
𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 & 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
The Global Undergraduate Awards (GUA) are delighted to continue our support of the 2025 Maynooth 5K & 10K Family Run, a vibrant celebration of health, ambition, and local participation, held on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Maynooth Education Campus.
Having the Global Undergraduate Awards on board again this year made a real difference—not just in terms of sponsorship, but in helping us amplify the message and reach new audiences. Their support on social media and with marketing materials gave the event a real boost, drawing more attention to our goals and helping us celebrate what makes this community event so special.
Why We Are Proud to Partner Again
Having proudly sponsored the Maynooth Run in 2024, we were inspired by the event’s inclusive ethos and community focus. In 2025, our commitment continues with renewed enthusiasm, celebrating another successful year of bringing together families, students, and neighbours in positive, active engagement.
Event Highlights
Two race options: A challenging 10K for the serious runners and a Family 5K for all ages, encouraging participants from every level to join in.
Community fundraiser: The event is organised by the MEC PTA to raise funds for educational facilities and field upgrades in Maynooth reflecting a commitment to future generations
Scenic & engaging route: Both courses take runners through historic and residential areas of Maynooth, with the 10K offering extended views along Carton Avenue and R157 loops, while the 5K turns around at Linden Demesne maynooth10k.ie
GUA’s Role and Special Contributions
This year, we’re contributing branded items for race day and engaging directly in the action—supporting fitness and connection beyond academia. It’s a tangible way to champion young talent, celebrate progress and reinforce communal bonds.
