Chester Ng
Hi! I’m Chester, a current undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, pursuing a Double Degree in Biomedical Science and Chinese Medicine! I am currently about to complete my last year of studies in NTU!
Where do your interests lie?
Research wise, my fields of interest are Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Integrative Medicine, and Endocrinology. I really enjoy playing sports too, especially water sports!
What are you doing now and what has happened since the award?
Currently, I am embarking on my Final Year Project in NTU! I have been more involved in research after the award and have had the opportunity to work on other projects since.
Has receiving an award for your hard work helped? How?
Receiving this award has been great for me! I have had many opportunities since then and had the chance to work on other projects. The award has given me confidence and encouraged me to go further and explore new methodologies in the field of research. Overall, it was helpful and an honor to receive the award!
Why should students submit their work?
The UA is a really great opportunity to submit one’s work and to have your work recognized! Although personally, I did not manage to attend the UA Summit this year, I feel that it is a really great opportunity to do so! Winning the award will definitely be a memorable moment to cap off Undergraduate Studies!
