Who Limits the Agency of Palestinian Children in the Occupied Territories? Rethinking Politics and Western Conceptions of Childhood
Yume earned a bachelor's degree with first class honours in International Development with International Education and Development Studies from the University of Sussex. She has researched children's rights and religious laws during her internship in Ghana and volunteered with Barnardo's, the UK's largest children's charity. Her passion for child advocacy led her to writing about Palestinian children in the Occupied Territories, who are often subject to grave human rights violations. Yume aspires to become an international human rights lawyer and to help transform the lives of disadvantaged children through quality education. She plans to pursue a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
