PDMS-based microfluidic device using Human Endothelial Umbilical Vein Cells (HUVECs) for Bisphenol A toxicity testing
Ali is an Egyptian graduate from University College London (UCL) with an MSc in Nanotechnology. His specialization in this field was due to a growing fascination in miniaturized technology, after completing a BEng in Mechatronics and Robotics from the University of Leeds. Due to its multidisciplinary nature, he was exposed to various branches of engineering and science. As part of his current research project, he established models to study applications of Integrated III-V QD-based Optical Semiconductor Waveguide Modulators in high-performance long-haul telecommunication and data networking systems. He hopes to continuously use this exposure to improve upon his skills and areas of expertise.
